SECCA Memorandum of Understanding Renewed

21 August 2025

The South East Councils Corridor Alliance (SECCA) – a collaborative partnership comprising the Cities of Armadale, Canning, Gosnells, and the Town of Victoria Park in Perth’s Inner South East – has re-signed its Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), reaffirming a shared commitment to advance the social, economic and environmental sustainability through collective action.

This renewed MoU sets the foundation for expanded inter council collaboration to champion initiatives in areas such as urban greening, community living and energy transition. This advancement in working relationship between the four Councils will enable strategic engagement with State and Federal Governments, industry, and the community to secure investment, influence policy and drive innovation.

The MoU underscores SECCA’s vision to drive coordinated infrastructure investment, strategic planning, and sustainable development across the south eastern metropolitan corridor as it aims to become one of WA’s Most Sustainable Corridors. By leveraging collective strength and shared objectives, SECCA continues its mission to shape a more connected, resilient, liveable, and prosperous future for the region’s current and future communities South East Corridor Councils Alliance
